Visit the 18th-century Et’hem Bey Mosque to admire its rare frescoes, then descend into history at Bunk’Art 2 — a massive nuclear bunker transformed into a fascinating museum. After exploring, take a stroll through the famous Blloku district. Once a restricted area for the communist elite, it is now the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing coffee or a delicious lunch amidst the city’s most vibrant streets.

Day 2 – BERAT – THE CITY OF A THOUSAND WINDOWS.

JOURNEY TO BERAT, A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE TREASURE AND A TRUE “LIVING MUSEUM.”
Wander through the historic Mangalem and Gorica quarters, separated by the Osum River, where distinctive white Ottoman houses climb the hillsides in a stunning display of traditional architecture. Climb to the Castle of Berat, a unique fortress where local families still live within the ancient walls today. Inside, visit the Onufri Museum to admire masterpieces of medieval iconography and soak in spectacular panoramic views of the valley and mountains below.

Day 3 – DIVJAKË & BASHTOVË – NATURE MEETS HISTORY

Travel south to the Divjakë–Karavasta National Park, an ecological jewel and the largest lagoon in Albania. Immerse yourself in nature with a walk through the centuries-old pine forests or take a boat ride on the tranquil waters, home to the rare and majestic Dalmatian Pelican. Just a short drive away, step back in time at the Bashtovë Fortress. This rare medieval gem is unique for being built on a flat open field rather than a hilltop

Day 4 – KRUJË – A LEGEND IN THE MOUNTAINS.

Journey to the historic city of Krujë, dramatically perched on the mountainside and known as the home of Albania’s national hero, Skanderbeg. Step back in time as you wander the cobblestone paths of the Old Bazaar, browsing traditional wooden shops filled with authentic handicrafts like silver filigree and woven carpets. Above the market, explore the legendary Krujë Castle to uncover the region’s rich history at the Skanderbeg Museum.

Day 5 – APOLLONIA – ECHOES OF ANTIQUITY.

Journey to the archaeological park of Apollonia, an ancient city founded by Greek colonists and a renowned center of learning where the Roman Emperor Augustus once studied. Walk among the majestic ruins of the Bouleuterion (Council House) and the ancient Odeon, surrounded by peaceful, centuries-old olive groves that create a timeless atmosphere. Visit the Monastery of Saint Mary, which houses the archaeological museum filled with statues and artifacts, before returning to Durrës for a relaxing farewell dinner by the sea.
